Finally, we were out the door and on our way to the German Village area of Columbus. Specifically, we were headed to The Book Loft. It's a 32 room bookstore, which sounds huge but some of the rooms were closet-sized. It was actually more suffocating than anything. That was in part because it was Black Friday, and while there weren't a swarm of people, there was certainly more than usual.

After the bookstore we headed to grab some coffee and walk around for a bit. The German Village is apparently an area of town that is gaining momentum as a destination, and it was a nice little section of the city.

Our next stop was Dirty Franks, a Hot Dog place. I think it might have been downtown. It's hard to tell, Columbus seems pretty small so we never had to go far. Dirty Franks is a bit like our own Chris & Rob's. It's more hip, with a bar and ironic art on the wall instead of sports and Chicago memorabilia. But but also harder to actually get a table at, since seating it pretty limited. As far as the hot dogs go, I think Chris & Rob's has them beat, but Dirty Frank's had a much wider selection of fixings. It was great, though.

After filling up on some Hot Dogs, we went to Wexner Center for the Arts. It's a modern art museum, and a tiny bit like the Walker, except for much, much smaller. There were 5 artists on exhibit, so it didn't take long to see it all. We looked at some books in the gift shop for a while and took photos of the cool entry way. Photography wasn't allowed in the exhibits themselves.

We headed back to Ryan's side of town after that. We were heading to a fancy dessert place, but it was closed. So we found a Deli that had some cakes and stuff anyway. We probably should have stopped eating, though.

After we were stuffed and exhausted, we went back to Ryan's for a bit. We ended up catching an episode of MTV's Teen Mom. After the first episode, we realized it was a marathon. Ryan started to groan and change the channel. I told him it was a character study and totally amazing. I was joking, but it started a conversation about who we liked and hated and how it sucks to be a teen parent and before long we were all in. So we watched the rest of the episodes, probably 5 or 6 in all. We just wanted to see if the two cute ones got married (they did).
Once we realized how long we'd been wrapped up in that drama, we left the house and found a Sushi restaurant within walking distance of Ryan's place. I think it was called Tyfoon, silly enough.
The sushi itself wasn't half bad, so. The heat wasn't working properly, though, so it was pretty cold in there. But we were bundled up and stayed a long time talking.

We walked back to Ryan's and we plowed through the rest of Medal of Honor. It wasn't that great. I kept telling Ryan to quit, but he's really persistent when it comes to that crap.
